Structured observation means looking at an event through a clear sequence rather than reacting to the first visible sign. A message may appear unusual because of its wording, timing, sender details, or requested action. An account notice may matter because it appears after a role change or before a file movement. A file may require closer review because its name, location, ownership, or version history does not match earlier records. The aim is not to assume harmful intent.
